Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

30%+ layoffs planned by the end of the year

In preparation for his appointment Murthy has been holding secret meetings with VP level or above on plans to execute a huge layoff of over 25,000 employees worldwide. In his estimates to compete with AMD, nvidia and Qualcomm he estimates that revenues should be supported by no greater than 75,000 employees to make the business sustainable. In small round table meetings execs were asked to look closely at their business units for "low hanging fruit" to cut. All firings should if possible take place veggie the year is out to maximize the impact on Q1 19 earnings to showcase Murthy taking over as CEO. BELIEVE THIS INFORMATION OR NOT IS UP TO YOU.

It seems that there is a truth to this news. Intel is planning massive layoffs as part of ACT2 that will coincide with hiring of new CEO. It’s evident in recent Executive departures. It maybe in phases but it will be aligned to market share loss to AMD which is projected to be 20%

I think the way Intel is growing there is no layoffs in near future. Amazing growth n great strategy to go ahead larger market. Stop spreading fake news.

Well it’s the end of the year and no signs of layoffs yet. I’m assuming they’re leaving it as low hanging fruit for the next CEO so they can say they’ve boosted the stock price.

Four months since BK was fired on June 21st. This is embarrassing. Can the board not find anyone to run this company regardless of how big the pile of cash is?

Murthy is low hanging fruit, since he's not delivering. Nor are his teams he touts at Intel India subsidiary. Can't perform model check test or file validation check . HP,Dell, Lenovo and IBM have to go other places for components. So if you were to take all nepotists and move them to their very own subsidiary (Intel India), then you could spin-them off at will. HP did this a few years ago.

Go look at the BoD for Samsung, TSMC, TI, AMAT and then Intel and laugh at the id--ts on them. Ain’t no wonder the BoD has failed total FUBAR

I know the board is full of sh1th3ads but they aren't so immensely stupid as to appoint MR. MR is a paper weight.

25K would be a start, but at least 40-60K must go to clean up the brown-nosing deadwood infecting the company like a virus.

FACT: (1) MR is not up for CEO job. Likely Intel is looking a reverse merger option. Which means Intel India Subsidary will be automomize and report to Intel US. Then be suddenly spun off from Intel US Intel will likely Spin of Intel India as subsidary and have MR as CEO. That's not for certain.. Since he's go alot of others who want that job. That means his staff below goes with him to Intel India. Intel US will be run in a CO- CEO model. (1) Design,Development, engineering, manufacturing, marketing) and second CEO (2) HR,Marketing, sales,IT, legal, finance and business. MR will be building these functions from scratch at the now spun off subsidary of Intel India. They will start the ACT on his friends and family.

TMG is history, their inablility to deliver 10nm and the bungled 14 capacity. Big cuts and likely spin off is a certainty
