It is almost the end of the fiscal year when they wanted all of the locations and home shored employees that were not in the super centers gone - how far are they with their plan? Have most or all of the small offices been given dates of their closing? Have the laid off most of the home shored people?

I'm homeshored with Tech Services and my home office has been closed for a while but they still haven't given the axe yet.......matter of time.
A handful of people in the learning organization were given notice yesterday that they're let go as of 6/29. No word of ending home-shore arrangements from leaders. I know they're moving away from home-shoring (no new hires are home-shored), and I'm sure home-shored folks have been affected by RIF. It's only here that the rumor of laying off all home-shored employees abounds.
I was told core market would have all homeshored positions gone by end of this comilng December. Up market was holding off for a bit to see how it affected core market
I heard that the Monroe NJ office is shutting down this month- which others were told their dates?
In a highly competitive market, its arrogant to believe lower-paid employees will remain, skilled or not. ADP holds great weight on a resume. Lots of clients w/systems they need associates to understand and complete their day-to-day business. OPPORTUNITY to market oneself. Be courageous and know what you possess.
Another factor in getting rid of homeshored workers is, the company can terminate a homeshored worker much easier without any notice or severance pay. Several employees have had a manager call them with a HR rep also on the call and let the employee know they are not productive enough and they terminate you over the phone.
ADP is all about slashing wages and this trend will continue until they meet their goal. Nobody is safe.
If you are an employee of any kind at ADP long before the strategic locations came to be, then you are a highly paid employee. Because the wages that ADP pays at these new locations is very low. That was the purpose of the layoffs - to save on labor costs. Experienced employees who have worked for many years at ADP are being targeted for elimination. The jobs are still there, but the employees are being discarded and replaced by new ones earning far less money. So while you may not think that you are earning a lot of money, your replacement will be earning even less and doing the same job you are. Thus you are considered "highly paid" and are earning too much money according to the ADP management view.
I was a home-shored long before the strategic locations came to be. What makes you assume that I am a higher paid employee?
Homeshored employees are a temporary thing until the current mega center lower paid employees are fully trained and able to handle the full work load. ADP is not going to let higher paid employees stay on board in the comfort of working from home. Sooner or later it will end.
Just FYI. I am a home-shored employee and have not been let go. Many of my peers are home-shored and as yet, we have not heard that we will be asked to come into offices. I'm not saying I won't be let go, but wanted to level-set the conversation here. Home-shored employees remain. I will post when that changes.
First they offered early retirement packages to anyone over 55, laid off homeshored associates and just this week eliminate order input teams. Watch out for the so called Centers of Excellence! This translates to we can pay less for your services. Long term and loyalty are no longer valued here.
That is all homeshored people? There will be none left, even if your home office is still remaining?
As far as I know the last round of layoffs were given an Aug last date of employment (6mos) for both homeshored and office closure employee. I'm still homeshored but pretty sure still on the chopping block!!
2020 vision? I haven't heard that term used before. Where was that discussed?
This will be completed when all the highly paid associates are gone whether they are working from home or not. The previous poster is right. These layoffs and job consolidations are definitely not over.
What a grand "2020 Vision"! I just wish that the ADP top management team had put their glasses on and saw the fatal consequences of their plan before they started this in real 2020 vision. What a way to kill the company!
You do realize the "completion" you are referring to is only for this phase. The "2020 Vision" has more to come that will affect the employee base in significant ways through additional reductions in force and job consolidations between business units.
