A little perspective on this "aggressive" fiber to the home project:

There's 29,000 customers in Litchfield system. (all 8 towns) --- For comparison, there's 132,000 customers coming out of the Hicksville Hub / 70,000 coming out of Hub A of the Bronx system

Litchfield has very low HPM (homes per mile)

Dexter NOT gonna invest the millions required to rebuild that area. We're talking hundreds of miles of fiber, of which, a significant amount would have to be installed underground.

What kind of return would they see on such an investment, if any?

What new services will be provided to the customer other than 10G/bit bandwidth? at what cost?

Probably be more profitable to sell off Litchfield system to Spectrum.

Or just cherry pick a couple of small pockets of the plant so they can satisfy their investors.

16 year employee what a complete waste of my time I work where the building used to be full but now it’s like a cemetery. 4 supervisors left only 1 of them has a brain and remembers what it was like to be a tech. Only problem is he is just another puppet at this point as well. They take points away then give us 11 hours worth of work like we are a bunch idiots and didn’t notice it. Hope the whole fiber plan fails !! Big time !!!!! 2 hours worth of travel time a day and 9 hours of work. Make sure your nps is good though even though your late to 4 jobs a day and our equipment doesn’t work. Oh yeah keep your points up too with that 2 hours of travel a day. What a joke this has become. Nice work guys!! Then you have beens like JP sitting at tables in meetings telling people if they don’t like it to quit to bad he didn’t get that VERIZON position he clearly wasn’t qualified for. I was hoping for more from Langhorn but I guess at this point he’s just happy to be holding onto his job for the time being. Too bad !! Where are the dolans when you need them ?? Oh yeah sitting on 17 billion for something that was worth 8 billion tops !!! Anyone remember when this was supposed to be a career? Now it’s at best a temporary job til the French decide to officially just make us all contractors with no benefits, amazing they got away with this Pathetic and shameful.
