Betteridge's Law of Headlines: any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word "no"

When it happens it will happen but pls don't spread rumours by just putting one question mark

@PM3MDf4-5vab "If you earn more than your contribution then you'll be on the chopping block."

If that were the case, then HR, the majority of the 5th floor, EDA, and ASPD should be concerned.

What to work. If someone talks about quality of improving product, he will be suppressed because people need to work if there is some improvements. That kind of people are filled in Sabre. This is not first company have seen being like this, but this company is in extreme. All useless are here, who retain who gives them good company for timepass. No leaders here think of improving product. They hire people seeing who will give them better company, doesn't matter has skills or not. Initially i was wondering how unskilled people gets promoted, now its clear. There is no promotion for merit here, only for chatting, doing timpass.

With few layoffs before, everyone is talking about management has become serious about work. But i don't see any improvements. Still same useless people hiring more useless people. Am from BLR and i will say BLR has majority inefficient people. All useless people of India have accumulated here. This is disgrace for India. Shail Maniar got blo--ob and hired many useless people and who have hired more and spread like plague.

STOP the madness - no layoffs in the immediate future. Stop rumor milling and Sabre employees don't believe everything you read. Focus on your job and you'll be fine. If you earn more than your contribution then you'll be on the chopping block. So get back to work!

Each business unit and sub unit was given some number of cuts they had to hit (e.g. one area might be expected to cut $11 mil worth of cost). HR then checked with VPs to make sure nobody indispensable to the business was targeted. I think AS is set for more reductions. I think TN is more exposed if they reduce some of the 150 products that are still being supported. None really were removed or sunset during the first round. The FC implementation team in AUS is exposed. The business won't need them after cutover activities are done in December and they aren't on other projects due to solely supporting the cutover.

apparently leadership team can not promise that, for sere they would not miss such opportunity to increase people morale

Our upper management could put this to rest with a single statement along the lines of "the widespread reductions are over for the foreseeable future." I haven't heard anything like that. Have you? I think it would be a big boost for morale, or at stop the decline. In one of his wiser moments a few years ago, TK said "There is a rumor that we are going to close Montevideo, I want you to know that is not true." So come on Sean, time to give the troops a lift.

It would most certainly be new people and not people notified before.

End of October and end of December. Phases 2 and 3 of the major reduction for this year. End dates were already stipulated for people when the original list was compiled. The question is 1) how large those reductions will be and 2) were these people notified during the first round or will it be net new people.

Not sure what the funding is this year either. I am still not sure about DS. Seems alright so far. I do not buy the 'employees are assets' BS. We are always going to be expenses to the leadership. Their actions prove this time and time again. You are right about the earnings call. Layoffs will be right before so they have good news for the shareholders.

It would follow recent patterns to "give the investors 'SOMETHING.' Don't worry though VCP is funded (at what percent?) If we last that long. Remember we are very important and need everyone to understand that per DS.
