Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Too late for Sabre

It's too late for Sabre now.

What the company needs is Surgery. What it has been getting is bad external hires and band- aid for years. Take the example of outages and the P&T leadership.

Cuts are almost sure to happen now. However while that will help to meet the 2017 target, it will not help with things that matter such as products, outages, etc. It will make things worse and impact morale adversely.

Don't see things improving any time doon for Sabre unfortunately

As much as I hate to see the company in a state it is in now, I have to agree with @O72xeZt-hxw.

Sabre has very sophisticated algorithms for scheduling/pricing/ticketing/catering.... that could be applied to alot more industries that just the airline/travel industry. I hope they can survive and apply their skills to other problem domains.

SVP's & VP's really should be ashamed of themselves hiding behind the "LIST" For the remaining employees it is true demoralizing waiting for your turn at the chopping block, why wait, get it over with and start rebuilding a foundation that is not toxic
