Thread regarding Sears layoffs

2 pricing leads and our hardlines ASM gone. 2 pricings got moved to sales floor supervisors. I'm data and just waiting for my layoff. Can't come quick enough

Im happy to get out of that piece of crap store because they eliminated my FT position but I found a new job before they made the cut

Happened at our store Hardlines ASM, one pricing lead, Office lead and Electrinics lead. Rumor has it that a second wave is coming...any truth to it? Is Operations Manager staying?

Thanks most to this original poster because I was preparred and it did not shake me. I was given my paperwork and walked to my locker after 10+ years. Thanks much that I could except it. I got let go too after 5 years service, but hey it's all part of the transformation right, so that's okay? Maybe you could pebble your support for the cast offs, no I didn't think so.

Yep, just happened at our store this morning, sad, once a great company and now nothing. We lost people with more than 25 years in.

some leads depend on your stores volume if your below 9m owned its all true

Most of those positions have been gone in r store a long time already
