They are giving forced rating of 4 meaning 0 hike and no bonus. Demoting and pushing employees to bad project. Using these tactics they wann employees to resign.
All this making CG India real bad company to work for.

This is case with other IT companirs too. See CSC & HPE merger. Both are sacking wrong employees and the senior management is safe who should have rather been sacked why because it is they who decide whom to retain or not. So now all companies are following the same practice.
Capgemin Managers know nothing technical , they only promote employees who knows to do adulation .....they dam care about quality .
Recently Capgemin Took over AXA they have started doing this giving D Rating and removing employees Insted of removing highly paid unless managers they are removing technical employees who are holding the project. Managers are very partial towards their favorite people..My work was never considered for appraisals and never given opportunity to learn even after asking my manager a lot times..Managment does not care for quality.........
This is real fact even capgemini started thinking on those lines and has implemented it.

Capgemini FS is all Canbay management and employee IDs, payroll, even portal iconnect.fs.Capgemini.com, just imagine
They fail to merge and we are working for another year without good hike.
Inspite of 4 successful projects with zero escalations in 2 years, CG has given 3 rating and 1.5% increment of which 1% in variable pay and 0.5% fix.
CG FS has a very bad reputation as all senior management is from Canbay and they lobby for each other.
Root cause of this is igate the most panauti company of world.
Patni then igate now capgemini.
IGate employees don't deserve on capgemini pay roll the most suitable word for igate employee is "chindi chor" .
One igate and it's stupid employee will distroy whole capgemini and sogeti.
IGate employees best place is best bus cundoctor and drivers.

Truly saying. Some of the managers are not fit to be manager. Especially in of the location in Eco space. He is just focussing to hire more resources from his cast only ( bengalis). He is afraid of escalation and donot know to handle also. Boased against women employees do not give them laptop if they need to work from home instead ask them to come to office and work.

Last 15 days what is your daily routine and how much productive you are and much knowledge you got from performing those tasks.. i can says it's zilch... Capgemini is not for hard working guys its for people who know s--- and if you are a girl.. i don't have to say it... To get growth... I worked for a UK project 10 years back.. shown management middle finger left .... I feel sorry for you guys... I don’t know what you guys are talking about. Sure the company has some issues but which company doesn’t have such problems? My friend from Cognizant agrees with this. For me personally, my manager has been very cordial and his support is key to 3 years of my success at CG. My manager and my leads are one of the most humble people I have ever met.

Testing department is very worst in capgemini. If you are chatukar you will be prompted or will get long term on-site.

Yes, the managers are really tharki here. You will see that beautiful young girls getting awards and promotion those are in tea and lunch group of managers. HR is a Jinny and you will never see any. No skip level meetings only politics. Survived because of good managers at client side.
Whatever is said or written is actually Very Very True. A pathetic and unethical organizational to work with. The Managers here are the most inhuman. I am experienced and had to work every weekends. When I finally objected of these and cried, my manager literally sat there staring at me. And yes, they are Biased too.
I wanted to speak more than this but know that there will be no one to take charge and stop all this. This made many of my friends, and us feel stressed and depressed.

This is a great place to share info and vent, but site admins here can be brutal, they delete all posts that don't comply with their rules and block your IP. Can check their rules in the bottom of the page, but as far as I understand - no other languages (they tolerate English only), no naming names (even your own) and no personal insults of any kind. - full disclosure, I work for a competitor, we have a similar situation (yes, you guessed right, it's Cognizant) - see our board here, it's very similar.
As people already mentioned above Capgemini is now in a free fall esp after aquisition of i-gate. Every company has politics what makes the matter worst here is as some one mentioned people here who are in very sinere position like VP, AVP, Directors don't have the basic qualification to work in those positions. They can't speak proper english, they don't have any technical skills simply they have promoted to these post by greasing palms of their bosses. I know some ladies, who are in influential poistions simply by sleeping with those incompentent peoples at top. It's just like those people are ruling the company. There is no use of working in a company where basic ethics is not there.
CG is Very worst place for IT employees, Mainly managers are having very stupid idiot behaviour, they don't know how behave with their sub ordinates. Finally only one word for freshers and exp. guys not to join CG.
Agreed. Worst practice by the India management to protect their vastly oversized but incompetent VP's and directors who have nothing else but to try and squeeze the employee benefits to protect their jobs. Capgemini has became a company of no growth, bleak future for the employees.
I have worked in cg for more than 2 years the manager in here are worst I have ever seen the top management people like sanjay pathak, sarang shevdekar are the worsest of them all they even dont like talking to people of lower grade and incapgemini HSBC is the worst account to work in they make life worst of people no personal life my manager ghanshyam use to say there should be no personal life when you come in IT industries freshers i request you not to join this firm and dont ever join HSBC account your life will become worse if you do so.....
Managers are worst here.. As per policy you can change the project after 2 yrs completion.. Managers don't allow to change the project. They ask to leave CG. Dumb managers have ego problems.. They dont even know how to claim reimbursement of phone, fuel..

Their emp performance system is not transparent, if you demand for the proofs on why you have been rated '4' then their answer would be, you are rated 4 because your performance was bad when compared with other peers.. which peers have they compared? Then one who s*ck your balls always and make you happy.. is that the one? Seems to be YES. Sick company.
I don't know how long you worked for Capgemini, why didn't you raised all these when you are in your role. It would have helped others.
