1.Every current post optimum tech that resigns or leaves Altice or ATS BBT 1-6, those positions will never ever be refilled at that rate and salary.

2.Instead CONTRACTORS making $16-$30 an hour will be incorporated to replace each and every OPTIMUM BBT 1-6 tech that leaves. Many of you will need to go, since you are already making above Altice/ATS salary CAPS.

3.Your proverbial dangling carrot bonus rate of 10%-20% a year is a ruse that will die a steep death down to 2%-5% a year eventually once all is on board to ATS in year two to three.

4.Every new hire will be going through the contractors working for ATS.

5.At Altice/ATS if you are making over any salary cap, you will eventually receive no more % merit or cost of living increases. Your only way of making any extra money, is to be, a part of the bonus incentive program. All new hires has to be a part of this.

6.True, you will receive fiber training and certifications. FACTS ARE, it's all limited, tempoary and another proverbial ruse. Your tech level determines your fiber training and certifications. Those that do install and service calls, will be trained to run a fiber drop from the pole to the customers device and connecting other devices through IP technology. Nothing new than what you currently do with your regular WiFi router connections for streaming.

7.Altice/ATS will eventually force more voluntary seperations, buyouts and layoffs of post optimum employees and techs in the future, before during and or after 2018, as they are set out to lower OPERATIONAL, BENEFITS, and SALARY costs, to increase their savings. Setting their stage for the Altice IPO.

8.Within 4-5 years. All departments, Service, Fiber, OSP, Construction, ISP, lightpath and design will be phased in under the contractors working for ATS, leaving you the technicians to either the contractors or leave the company. If you join, you may be asked to take a pay cut. Only if you are over the CONTRACTORS salary caps and want to continue working for ATS. All this will happen to some techs before and then to the rest that were covered after the 4 year PSC agreement expires.

9.After 5 years or more, more jobs at ATS will be phased out to a limited contractual crew, once the new Altice fiber to the customer set top device is completed and mostly swapped over.

10.Now Altice/ATS doesn't owe any one of you employees anything. They answer only to the laws, state and government regulators. Wether as a foreign or as a local owned company, they will do whatever is deem necessary, to operate and achieve financial success for themselves.

11.Who are you waiting on to secure your future. Altice/ATS just told you and served you much less and less carrots on a stick.

You are much better off securing your own future by VOTING IN with all your fellow technicians, TO HAVE YOUR VERY OWN UNION REPRESENTATIVE GROUPS, negotiating your terms of employment and BENEFITS, and when and how Altice/ATS can make changes to your employment.

Employees without a unified voice is as similar to individual sheeps and lambs, lost without a shepherd, crying amongst wolves, heading to their demise.

Regardless if there's a union or not OBVIOUSLY Altice has a salary cap! NO IF's &'s or BUT's about it! Once ANY tech reaches that cap they will GET RID OF YOU!!! You could be THE BEST TECH EVER! Once you start cutting into there bottom line YOUR OUT! & this applies not only to techs BUT TO EVERYONE! So if your 1 of those kiss a&s supervisors or managers your OUT TO!!!! You should get a job with our current presidential spokespersons. So you can state your ALTERNATIVE FACTS and get BANNED from all the networks like some did, You have no clue about what your saying. Facts. Altice USA is the parent company of ATS. ATS is a subsidiary company of Altice USA. ATS will be initally fully budgeted and funded by Altice USA it's parent company. ATS was created to be the field technical work force for Altice building the 10 giga speed network and also maintain its current for now HFC network . Altice ongoing intent is to currently remove a HUGE % of its yearly budgetary operational technical cost, logistics, health benefits , salary, equipments and buildings over to ATS and use that company to possible aquire additional contract work from other companies. When everything falls into place ALTICE USA will file for its IPO to get its additional billion dollars funding and use it to budget ATS to build it's aggressive 5 year gigabyte network. These are the true facts dude and Altice can never be closed down as you stated because ATS is building the new fiber to the set top box network for it you darn fool and an id..t.

That means while ALTICE and ATS continue to reduce the rest of the employees foot print including Brooklyns, health benefits salaries, OT, LAYING OFF and some other terms of your employment and it will be for the worse as a un- unionized employee. We here in OAKLAND WILL NEVER HAVE DUDE, NEVER have our current salary, health benefits, OT and the way we work changed. NOT UNTIL ALTICE, ATS, decides to sits down with our lawyered UP unifide union negotiation team. Then they might get to change something if we as a union allow them. Oakland don't fool yourselves your not voting union like every other depot. Take your package if your lucky to get one and keep it moving. The carrot on the stick is you convincing yourselves and the union you'll get this done. That being said let clear some things up. Union can't stop Altice plans not by a long shot. Union can't tell a company how to run itself. All Altice will do is drag its feet much like the Dolan did for years before you even see a contract. That means many of you won't even stick around for such a fight being as how you have families to care for. Furthermore if you even make it to contract it will be a different contract from Brooklyn it might be even worse because your pretty much the only depot that got that far you have no leverage. Brooklyn by the way will be screwed and in a much worse situation when their contract is up. Altice has zero plans to bring them over to ATS once Altice USA is no more.

Also to clarify the biggest rumor floating around ATS is not a contracting company you will not be paid by the job or contracted out. Your pay will be hourly with bonus incentives for quality and amount of work done. ATS will have contractors of its own you will be ATS inhouse techs. You may from time to time help other companies run build out their own fiber but that is it. Most of you will start out at low pay because it's a new company in time bonus incentives may be phased out as pay scales balance out and depending how the company is doing.

You have one chance and one chance only to join ATS it's now or never. Reason being Altice is obligated to offer current employees a chance but it's not something they want. For this reason senior techs are being offered packages. They don't want or need the best. They want cheap labor. They've also changed the bonus sign on package not sure to what my understanding is one of them has been completely removed so now you have less options. Those who decide to stay with Altice will not have a job once Altice closes down. You will not have a chance to come over because by that time all positions will be filled.

Union can't do anything to deter any of this. And most definitely can't save your job if Altice doesn't need you. So do yourselves a favor stop wasting unions time and money with your rhetoric that we all know is hollow. Most of you are content to just have a job until you have no job so just stfu about asking what union can do for you. Unless your talking about yourself which is exactly what union is. What can you do for yourself sounds more like what your asking. If so do what you've always done think only of yourself and to hell with everybody else.

We complain about lies from the company and lies from union reps but from what I constantly read here most of you seem content to just lie to yourselves just fine. All the b--ching and infighting in the world ain't stopping Altice from prospering and moving forward with plans with or without you. So the real question is what are each of you afraid of? Because whatever it is that has you going back and forth and blaming everyone but yourselves is fear.

You can't stop what's coming. You either join them and take what's given. Or find a new line of work. Very simple. Reality is a b--ch. But let living a lie can leave you completely f---ed in the end.

Excellent Gordon the people would rather be lied to as long as it appeases them, sad but when confronted with the truth from a fellow worker they are often dismissive how do you know your not them, their eyes get mesmerized by a smooth talker in a suit even though he has wreaked havoc wherever he went.

He is building the new MCI Worldcom. Google his SFR company in Israel was investigated for cooking the books. They are playing accounting tricks and buying company after company to hide the fact they are over leveraged to the kilt in some sort of telecom to big to fail pyramid scheme. Buying up tons of companies with cheap junk bond debt , not paying bills, lowering salaries, hamstringing suppliers and contractors alike, destroying company morale, forcing out all the TALENT and during the whole ordeal, he is claiming to do the impossible. Build a nationwide fiber optic network. No Offense, most of the techs going to ATS are/were not the cream of the crop. I see a lot of new young people who might be eventually pressured to uproot and move. You guys are delusional if you think you are special, you are what is left over which means desperate and desperate means cheaper. This company will go out in a flame of bankruptcy like you wouldnt believe. Didnt Gecko and his team of agents make money even if BlueSteel Airliner went under? Dont you think the small group and continuing to get smaller management group will split some mega bonus as the paper corporation implodes? How often does the common guy walk away with something when that happens?Believe in yourself.
