I know it's hard for all of us and that many people are frustrated.

Let's share this discussion space in a civilized manner and with respect to all who read this. I know there are many spouses, friends&family and children who are following the news and reading this in real time - let's try to put our best foot forward and try to be civilized to each other even if we are protected by anonymity.

Why should we. It's nice that they told us, I'll give them that, but I know the RIF will be unfair and one sided. Under 1. forty white males, 2. india males and 3. young girls with short skirts. We know it is the truth. The mature people will be escorted out in droves. It will be nice to get rid of some of the farting grandpas that fall asleep in the afternoons. I have been right on every other item. The number is 1400 across all of Devon. It's not going to be pleasant. Almost all contractors will be gone. All IT&MI project will stop. The PMO will be stripped with CI only people left. All of the old IT PMs will get the boot. That's right ALL. The Land department will be stripped of only essential personnel. The data specialist will be downsized by 50%. Many managers will be demoted or gone. How many data rules do they need to product oil? None.
