I have a feeling that the guys who claim they bargained for a better severance package is a rumor. There's a big difference between giving generous GTFO packages for 600 long term employees and doing it for several thousand. My guess is the GTFO package will be 2 mos. pay and benefits required by the WARN Act/Cal WARN and any unused vacation, sick pay, and holiday pay, plus a couple of thousand on top of that for most people.
