On Monday or Tuesday of this week there was an Optum managers meeting. They were told no more cuts in BH for 2020. Maybe layoffs are UHC medical....

I wish someone would ask on these townhalls why they're firing all the American employees for no reason other than being more expensive than a cheap, low callibur, Philippine employee.

I was told the “other” day that I was being transferred to another department effective 1/7. Optum has this grandiose idea of being fully automated in 4 months, keeping only a handful of people doing work that the automation spits out. Yes, it is greed. No, I have seen no compassion. FYI: Optum’s motto? Integrity, Compassion, Relationships, Innovation, Performance. I had to put my rain boots on to keep from getting all of the “stuff” on my feet.

They will rid as many as they can before year ends to ensure the chosen few get their big annual bonuses. And they LOST business because some clients are getting wise to the game and leaving....gotta protect those bonuses at the top and stockholder earnings.

what a farce of a company, liars who lie to their employees as well as their stock holders..

I hope everyone else pays attention and c ok contracts are lost due to the greed of upper management.

I’m a nobody, literally, my manager forgot my work anniversary and my birthday ( it wouldn’t normally matter but the other two managers keep up with underlings’ milestones, so I noticed). Establishing my lowliness, I was informed, that there will be more shifting of humans among teams. So, we’ll see.
