Hearing sadly from outside Sabre about talks of possibly rebadging of some sabre employees with maintenance only products to Accenture.. anyone heard of it or know which products involved?

i mean google flight didn't buy us or announce a major partnership. Thats the only thing that would have mattered.
Theres absolutely nothing newsworthy about this at all.. its like having an announcement thats says "we are all moving to Toshiba laptops" and ditching dells. who the heck cares. just a waste of money on starting over..

It's not fake but we only signed an MOU on Friday.
Sounds fake. Google has a history of wrecking aquisitions then offloading them though so even if true may not be a good thing.
We held a week long negotiation with Google at the Cambria hotel near HDQ. Finally signed it at 5pm on Friday. Look for more news later!
Wow, that would explain a lot. They have had Accenture guys in one of the A3 rooms for several weeks doing deep dives with dev teams. We thought it was some kind of audit but I guess that wouldn't really make much sense. So this is most likely correct.
Back when Amadeus purchased Accenture's Navitaire (sp?) they formed a strategic alliance to provide airlines with outsourced IT services. A merger with Sabre would be problematical for a variety of reasons.
