GE is freezing the Pension, initiating Tier 2 pay, cutting benefits, and layoffs. Where's the investment in manpower? The old guard is getting old and leaving. The new will be whomever they can find. The old days people would feel like they've made to the top of their game to be hired here. Now it's just another job until something better comes along.
In your dreams
For every one of these stories, you can find ten that say the opposite. Both sides are trying to manipulate the stock toward their opinion.
Maybe if these analysts and major investors worked here about a week, there would be a different story to write.
