WORLD'S PREMIER INDEPENDENT AVIATION NEWS RESOURCE

The agency said in a letter to Boeing on Tuesday.
Citing “public interest and safety in air commerce,”
The FAA stated that it would retain that authority – which was previously
Delegated to Boeing through the organization designation authorization (ODA)

MAX impact may push into 2021
https://atwonline.com/leasing/max-impact-may-push-2021-smbc-ceo-warns

SMBC has a portfolio of 717 owned, managed and committed Aircraft,
Spanning 83 airline customers in 37 countries.
The SMBC portfolio includes 237 owned aircraft, valued at $12.4 billion.

Peter Barrett drew a clear distinction between the regulatory approvals required
to get the MAX flying again versus airlines actually resuming MAX operations
after such a prolonged grounding. The process is “not simple,”
he told ATW in an interview.

  • Chicago, Nov, 11 2019 – 737 Max Progress Report

Boeing has made significant progress over the past several months in support
of safely returning the 737 MAX to service as the company continues to work
with the FAA and other global regulators on the process laid out for certifying
the 737 MAX software and related training updates.
The company has also made significant governance and operational changes
to further sharpen its focus. These two deliberate and malicious acts continue
to weigh heavily on our bottom line here at Boeing. We have established
a $100 million relief fund to meet family and community needs of those
affected by these two foreseeable incidents.

While your premise of chapter 11 for Boeing is sound...there have not even been rumors about it.

The satellite launch article is from 2009
The One Aviation article is from 2018 and they don't fly Boeing aircraft.
The winglets company is from a month ago and they don't make winglets for Boeing.

So, premise good, citations bad.

Find me something more concrete and I will take it seriously.

Chapter 11 bankruptcy for Boeing will allow the company some breathing room
and time to restructure its debts while they negotiate new terms with creditors.

So you Know: The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act
Requires that certain employers provide affected employees 60 days notice
of any mass layoff or shutdown. But, like virtually all federal statutes,
There are exceptions. We are entitled to compensation for our wages and
Benefits for those 60 days despite the bankruptcy filing.

My assumption is the following;

  1. Layoff of higher paid mechanical and engineering personnel.
  2. Request to reduce their pension liabilities.
  3. Eliminate retiring medical.
  4. Utilize this money saved from paying pensions and medical to develop the 797
  5. Shift more aircraft manufacturing to their facilities in China, India
    and non-union US states.
  6. Boeing will emerge stronger after chapter 11 but will be extremely
vulnerable to competition from new market entry’s
Due to bad management and a toxic corporate culture.

De-Regulation the Congressional approval of criminality for corporate profit.
Do you remember the banks? No one went to jail, but we all paid for it. For the
Un-regulated selling of worthless mortgages tronches each firm made millions.
While investors lost millions; Predatory lending saw thousands lose their homes.
And again the banks made millions, in this crime too, no one went to jail.
Even though they were found guilty in civil court No criminal charges were filed.

Here We Are Again:
Boeing Lobbyist buying Congress; Congress selling the FAA, who will pay?
All because Corporations and the U.S. Congress seek profit at any cost.

Profits at any cost; 346 lost. Apparently we draw the line between
(Lives Destroyed and Lives Lost) or do we, who will go to jail this time.
No one, not the Congress, not the Lobbyist, not the board of directors.
Make no mistake they are all responsible, but we the people will pay.

Jim Marko a manager in aircraft integration and safety assessment at
Canada’s aviation regulator believes that Boeing should remove the MCAS
Software, it’s the only way I see moving forward at this point.

Linh Le, a system-safety manager at the FAA, shared Mr. Marko’s message
with others at the agency. He noted that the Canadian official believed that
“MCAS introduces catastrophic hazards that weren’t there before,”
“that it and the fix add too much complexity,” that “there have been many
revisions to the software” and that “each was a band-aid.”

Mr. Le said he had similar misgivings about Boeing’s proposed fix for the Max.
“I have held similar perspective (questioning the need for MCAS, at least from
the system safety standpoint),” he said in the e-mail to colleagues. It is unclear whether international regulators will take any action in response to Mr. Marko’s concerns.

In his e-mail, Mr. Marko said he was writing the other regulators because he
wanted “to get some confidence back to us all that we as Authorities can
sleep at night when that day comes when the MAX returns to service.”

He expressed concern that regulators might accept the update to MCAS
even as issues with the fix kept cropping up. “This leaves me with a level of
uneasiness that I cannot sit idly by and watch it pass by,” Mr. Marko wrote.

Mr. Marko’s e-mail included a PowerPoint presentation expanding on
his argument and outlining how Boeing might remove MCAS from the Max.

In a statement on Friday, Boeing said, “We continue to work with the FAA
and global regulators to provide them the information they are requesting
to certify the Max for safe return to service.”

At Boeing we have few good axioms well known throughout the company.
Perhaps you’ve heard a few, we’ve made many popular throughout the world.
Eat, Drink and be Merry for tomorrow we Fly Boeing
Buy Boeing, Fly Boeing, (well you know)
What is called a reason for living is also an excellent reason for flying Boeing.

You start Flying Boeing If you become a slave of your habits:
Walking everyday on the same paths: If you do not change your routine:
If you do not wear different colors or you don’t speak to those you don’t know.

Long Live The New Max. A clear showing of Boeing acceptability!

To the commenter below
We here at Boeing listen intently to our customer and will make every effort to
Win New Customers. Have we got a deal for you? You are in luck.
We have just completed our latest addition to the Max family.
The 737-10X Max Pad is the very latest; it surpasses the A310 In fuel efficiency,
With the highest per passenger seat mile, this aircraft seats *232 people.
The 737-10X has the highest capacity and the shortest range in the Max family.

We have over 500 orders for this beauty at this time, but if you call now
We can guarantee you will meet some of the smoothest talking sales persons
In the industry.

*Seating capacity of 232 is based on fully occupied bathrooms.

The latest iteration has additional insulation for a far quieter flight.
The material is made of nano-structured anhydrous magnesium carbonate.
The trade name is Upsalite. This material is also one of the world’s most
absorbent material’s, capable of absorbing several hundred times its weight.
Not only is this aircraft quieter, lighter and more fuel efficient than an A320
It will also absorb all Bio hazards on impact greatly reducing
the of clean-up cost

So get into a dealership now while the paint is still wet.
What have you got to lose, after all, you’re a buyer not a flyer
and for a limited time we’re practically giving them away
with reservations and 50% down you too can own this modern marvel.

https://news.yahoo.com/boeings-737-max-shouldnt-allowed-213418250.html

November 22, 2019
The New York Times reported that an engineering manager
in aircraft integration and safety assessment at Transport Canada
emailed international regulators on Tuesday saying:
“The only way I see moving forward at this point"
is that Boeing's MCAS system "has to go."

The email was sent to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA),
the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
and Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency

“The email reflects working-level discussions between
highly trained aircraft certification experts of key aviation authorities
who have been given wide latitude for assessing all issues and looking
at all alternatives for the safe return to service of the aircraft,"
Transport Canada said in a statement.

"The views are at the working level and have not been subject to
systematic review by Transport Canada."

Translation: The highly trained aviation experts say MCAS is trash.
However the
Corporate boot lic-k-ing Politicians want to hear from the accountants.

It Pushes the older threads off the front page, is this manipulation?
As time goes on the highly negative news is replaced with the mundane
The news cycle moves on and people forget.
Governments and Corporations alike, count on it

So it does not matter if it's baseless, it serves a purpose
Disinformation works, it distracts, it divides. Solution Ignore.
