There is a thread on FB Only Lowe's site about SM and ASM's had a closed door meeting on Monday. On Friday the Supervisors are having a meeting. The person posting said she heard there is " something big in the pipe" Only one other person has collaborated that the same thing is happening in their store. Anybody on here know anything?

What’s the final word? What was discussed during the mandatory Friday meeting? What’s the “something big in the pipe”? Was it all about the Customer Centric Scheduling?
I know union is a bad word but its about time we take a stand and at least try to stop this bull sh–!!!!
I think it's about the new attendance policy and centric scheduling going companybwide

This is the prep meeting for the cuts coming in late October. That's all I know at this time.
Just told by my Store Manager that all managers have a meeting tomorrow Friday at 9am. Im off so I have to come in. Not sure whats up.

True not many people care anymore I'll keep working until this ship sinks but I'll take my leisure time doing it. I work like a corporate raider now I walk around the store with my nose in the air and try to look important so no one stops me it seems to be working fairly well . We teach all our new hires to have fun and help 1 cuts at a time.doesn't matter if the other five that are waiting have to leave

Corporate schedule went away a long time ago, a few select supervisors that help the asms open and close the store are the only ones still on a corporate schedule.
Corporate schedule is going away. Scheduling will be based on business needs. “Customer centric scheduling”
Something is coming down in pro services
The Store Managers, ASMs and Department Supervisors have closed door meetings every Monday. Those meetings are for management and nothing new.
I haven’t heard anything about a meeting for DSs on Friday.
Don’t believe what you hear when people claim they overheard shakeups being discussed in meetings involving management. When position eliminations are in the works, ASMs are never told in advance and the Store Manager is often told only a day in advance or the morning of the changes. Corporate can’t expect (management) groups across the country to not disclose the information, hence the reason why it’s done with little advance notice and those affected are caught off guard. It’s to keep the information from being leaked.
