Remember when you said there weren’t going to be layoffs, “confirmed by management”..? I guess that’s true only in the aspect that they are just firing people and not labeling it as a layoff as the cowards they are. Still trust management?
They seem to be doing it in small batches to get around government reporting for staff reductions. Need to get over the superior only here attitude. They are rookies at the shale business. Hello Chevron.
I figured they would be, but they seem to be all over the place. I’ve heard they are letting go of a lot more.. Not sure what that means though.

The company I came to years ago would’ve never treated their people like this. This is not the same top tier company that everyone wanted to work for. Sad to see the demise. The culture has made a turn for the worst.
Doesn’t make sense why they got rid of some of the best people we had and decided to keep certain people.. ESP to not even give them anything when they left..
They paid off the RSP people who stayed on (years salary in COG stock) last month and then nothing for lay offs??? WOW!

For sure.. Very clearly NOT targeting low performers, it’s almost as if they are doing the exact opposite from what I’ve seen. Punishing people for being well paid and good at their jobs, taking the hit for our last quarters financial mistakes. They got nothing, basically got c-apped on and kicked out with nothing.. No insurance, no pay, nothing. This is how we treat our people, like the are worthless.. It’s sad.
