OMG, never before have I been pressured to say 'nicethings' about a company I work for. A film about how happy the employees are. That alone says everything. Rhetoric from senior management constantly about how we value our staff...load of BS.

This company is being destroyed by Ortho. Management don't seem to care. The laziest people being promoted and good staff gone. Such a shame as it used to be a great place to work.

Quidelortho or as we now call it orthoquidel has lost its unique culture. The show is being run by Ortho, some excellent staff from Quidel side lost. Told we have to find savings of 50 million.

Several contractors where let go today, anyone know what's going on?

There was a smaller size layoffs in Athens last year - less than 10 folks were let go from Quidel.

Quidel is one of the best companies I know - 2014 will be tough though
