All of these great place to work "awards" are marketing BS. I remember working at NetApp years ago and they made a huge push to make sure employees filled out surveys with a big internal campaign to make sure they would place high.

Just look at the rest of the names on the list, and it will tell you all you need to know about the quality of the list. Not a single se-y start-up in the bunch; just old, stodgy grind houses.

I used to work in marketing at Cisco - always in the top 10 places to work because they paid to be there. All of these surveys are click-bait anyway and not a result of employee votes, another case of the top players in the industry voting to be the top players in the industry.
Don’t believe a statistic you haven’t faked yourself.
Companies did their own scoring against these categories. So, if you lie on a survey you win prize.
