Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Stop playing lawyer. Save yourself some time, confusion and anguish.

Lots of controversy over what is fair vs. what is legal. These are two different things. Place all the arm chair lawyers advice aside and get to the facts as per your state. It’s rather simple and you can find the answers to all your questions plus the viability of any lawsuit in short time.

Dig into your wallet and pay 100-200$ for legal consultation which last about an hour. It’s money well spent to get to the fact fast. The lawyer will tell you if you any solid ground for a lawsuit or not. The message given very well may be:

“what happens to you su-ks and it could have been handled better but there’s been no labor laws broken”
or
“yeah, they legally binding to to ‘x’ and ‘y’, they messed up. You can sue for…..”

It’ll save you a ton of time waffling back and forth on this board between those who think they know and HR’s bs trying to sell to you that you have no recourse at all.

Post ID: @1ube+1rNBjlDr NO thanks Citi "manager" or useless HR. Most plaintiff employee side Employment Lawyers will take cases on contingency especially against a big company like Citi that has deep pockets, and the Lawyers want to make a name for themselves. Stop trying to scare employees into Not exercising their Labor Rights. The USA is Not a third world or communistic country at least not yet. by Anonymous Post ID: @1rdf+1rNBjlDr
