Too late. Circling the drain until the directors and above siphon off as much as they can and scr$w the people who actually do the work.
I've been blocked during the transformation and so had beans and prune juice ... that really helped propelled me. Only regret is ELT was not behind me.
CT and SB have been muzzled.
Current ELT like JW, NC, KCC, HA, DS and their minions are in control and doing fake work and milking the purses.
Not the ELT but don’t forget cut throat CT (training) and SB. Those two together can’t even make up an entire brain and if they have a good idea, guarantee it didn’t come from either of them.
Stop asking for others to do your work for you.
You ELT were given much help but ignored them and laid the people that were in position to help. So stop trying to get them back because the magic is gone.
You can try to improve the company to improve short term morale but it has passed point of no return, culture and business is gone. Incompetent people at the helm and training more incompetent people.
For short term improvement, layoff all directors and above to save the company from paying more salary, bonuses, and RSUs for incompetency's. To bring good returns to shareholders, liquidate and use the funds to do a new start up and admit the transformation as a failure.
Teradata was at one time unique. That was a huge part of the value statement. That is no longer true. Now you can purchase similar solutions at the corner Kwick-E-Mart. The value of the company lies with its customer base. That is shrinking quickly. The best move for shareholders is to sell/merge with a competitor giving the stakeholders a chance to sell their shares at a reasonable price. The longer the board waits, the less the shareholders will realize.
I dont think theres anything that can save Teradata. They've laid off the people that could have made changes. Multiple times! ELT is poor + only concerned about cashing out stock. On top of all that the Board must be asleep at the wheel because if they were paying attention everything listed above wouldnt be happening.
