Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

I have zero respect for this leadership

Tell me one good thing they did in the last several years.

On the audience measurement side they have adapted the product to address changes in the industry, especially streaming, and the increased competition.

If this was successful they wouldn't be laying off the entire company.

Yeah--Disney debate could be the #MeToo-I'mAnOldWhiteDude moment we've been anticipating from Elon Musk--another billionaire corporate reaper, lol......

I'll be following the DEI lawsuit case against Disney very closely.

While DEI is arguably debatable, the EEOC does not currently view DEI programs as either being discriminatory per se and/or violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
It actually helps to protect certain groups.
Not saying that Nielsen is implementing it correctly— but nothing illegal about the program itself, employment-wise.

They Added DEI. Unfortunately its a violation of federal civil rights law. "It is patently unlawful to consider racial, ethnic, and s-x-based characteristics in hiring, training, compensation, and promotion.”
