5G will never replace 150 million enterprise access lines. We will be here the next 20+ years
No i do understand that you need wireline from plant>tower, however when you are working for charter or someone else because we will not need a quarter of you then cool. Also to believe that wireless will not replace fiber is foolish. Look at how the industry has shifted in the last few years, at VZ we used to sell about 10% single service not we are up to 40% in just two years. Companies like netflix, amazon, hulu, crackle(owned by sony) are producing more content and making money on subscriptions not dependent on advertising. Then there are the pirating sites that are the most visited sites on the internet, and the 6 strike rule is a joke. Celebrate your win, even though i can promise you it is not one, and the people like me who you trashed on here for the last 44 days, will still fight to insure you have a job and a future long after your union has abandoned you.

5g will be great for us, the backhaul will still need to be built whats the distance on millimeter wave 100 feet? I think an single run of ethernet can run farther so all the small sell will need plenty of fiber to carry it back to the office on.
