Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

It's almost like they want to go bankrupt...

more media bashing to pricing......no response..

outdated product all over the shelves..

pizza recalled because of stupidity...again...

more bad pizza press...

stores look disheveled, who is running the ship?

too many regional coordinators not coordinating anything

too many employees have had it to god for to long and they don't understand business, or competition, or innovation...they've run out of ideas.

the biggest thing that no one talks about here is BRAND...that brand has been seriously damaged over the past year and continues to be damaged with all the negative media print...and they are letting it happen...the company is doing nothing to defend itself and instead of going on the offensive, remains defensive. More hated than apple.

I just heard from someone inside and the idiots are having to hire someone to replace me after a year of struggle and hassles. The geniuses had decided that 90% of the our group were no longer needed. We kept telling them it wasn't going to work, having one person service 4 or 5 stores, all spread out, and now they're finding out that you don't get rid of the people who are keeping it all together and know your screwed-up systems JUST AS you will need those same people to oversee technical changes. Notice I didn't say improvements. Anyway, now I've left town and have a new life. Sorry guys, as usual, you fkkkkd up. Good luck with your turd festival.

This is sad as heck. I remain friends with people who still work for wfm (got out 2015). Nothing has changed. The same people are in charge, making the same incompetent decisions. Money is still hemorrhaging everywhere, people are still depressed about going to work. It's like watching a huge beloved animal being neglected and starved by their owner.

Yes, it's still a mess. The lights are on but nobody's home.

An our of "all our agents are occupied a the moment, continue to wait on the line for he next available operator." They give up and return their new HP compute to Best Buy. Never again to purchase anything made by HP for he rest of their lives. Then they g to apple and buy a Mac. For service the call is answered in seconds and the problem is resolved. Every Apple store within a hundred miles of her is full of customers. The HP reps at Best buy are having trouble staying awake. When someone spend a thousand dollars on something they expect it to work. If it does no they expect to be able to fix with a phone call. HP needs to understand this and support their products much better than they are doing now. Don't fix everything to fast though, I am short a lot of HP shares.
