I like how graduates at community colleges start off making more than the average salary at AI

@Anonymous152754, Everest College is still moving as part of a so-called non-profit Zenith Education/ECMC, and still advertising on daytime tv. The for-profit education industry and its lobbyists still have lots of power. EDMC may "go under" at some point, but that does not mean that many predatory EDMC schools won't stay alive as #zombie campuses. The Department of Education and for-profit underscretary/shill Ted Mitchell don't want to see a collapse of EDMC or any other large for-profits, especially with their ties to Goldman Sachs, Henry Kravis, and the Clintons.
Discussions of debt (quality issues too) and for profit colleges are getting harder to ignore. You can't take all the responsibility away from a student and his or her choice.
CK, coming from the minister of information, I dare say your sentiment sounds a bit defeatest. Take heart. Lots of ways to get the word out though. EDMC is dead. This new compendium of information is another useful nail in their coffin. We all must find higher ground in knowing we are engaged in a noble cause.
The scorecard helps, but how many students (over 21) won't learn about it?
This is a great consumer tool. Facts. Kudos for getting this online. A triumph for the Obama administration.
Here's a good one: South University Tampa, Florida 3% of 654 "health related field" undergrads graduated within the alloted 150% of the time this statistic can be compiled. That means a student had six years to attempt to graduate to be included in this 3% value. South University in West Palm Beach, Florida had a 17% grad rate using the same parameters. Tell me these institutions of failed learning deserve a penny more in Title IV funding. To what purpose?
I can't wait to see how Chris Hardman spins this one. God forbid that parents, students and others shoud have the ability to make side-by-side comparisons of one school to another. To be fair, all 7,000 higher ed sschools are listed so counter argument #one"they're just picking on us" is invalid. Forget about "Red lights" now it"s about EDMC pulling the hocus pocus
spin. Good luck Chris.
This site hit the print media today throughout the country. EDMC et al.fought long and hard and spent millions in Title IV funds to quash this information. This is this the reference point, the head of the spear, the naked truth. This can be used as a reference point. Get the word out. Workers at EDMC start looking. This is what you get for just going along for the ride.
Unbelievable! The undergrad graduation rates are incredibly low. Finally all information is in one easy to find place. This is golden! Goodbye EDMC evil empire.
