Thread regarding AFLAC layoffs

#aflacdisplacement=layoffs #aflaclies #aflacfakenews

Why is it that the news reports "ONLY 30 people impacted?" Are those 30 (more like 50+) less important than the masses? Are the children and spouses of those LAID OFF employees minimized because they aren't in the majority? It's incredibly insensitive and wrong to minimize the devastation created by Aflac to the impacted employees and their families. While it's true that aflac employs over 4500 people, the company is still guilty of LAYING OFF people and lying about it by calling it a displacement...all for the gain of a very rich company. The "little people" don't matter...only the wealthy execs.

If you weren't impacted by the recent #AFLACLAYOFFS, congratulations. But don't be so arrogant as to say the company is ethical and treats its employees well. The company is selective and discriminating in which employees it chooses to treat well. If you blindly worship the corrupt leaders, you will do well at the company...until they no longer have use for you. No one is exempt from being a scapegoat.

It would be great to see the true story trend on social media and the internet.

For those with privacy concerns--please take a look at the Telegram app. It allows for completely private messages to be sent from your phone or computer and many news organizations such as CNBC or Bloomberg TV (where Mr. Crawford is often interviewed for his business prowess and savvy financial guidance). No NDA will be signed if I am one of those to be effected. Waking up every morning and wondering if today is your day to be herded into HR and told your position has been outsourced is so stressful I am starting to have hair fall out. And all the secretive nonsense to keep it hush hush is not ethical-t's torture. I would rather be water boarded rather than having my entire future and financial stability in a constant state of "who knows." The writing is on the wall-now I know why Paul Amos II left- aside from the scandalous reasons. I guess we are too busy spending money on executive incentives and paying off local papers to spin stories that downplay the abhorrent covert goal and plan to outsource everyone to India or elsewhere. Please contact the media outlets of your liking trough the Telegram app and let them know the true meaning of being "displaced."

It is unlikely the employees who know the Aflac corruption best will ever expose this on social media for fear of losing their jobs. The anonymity of this site is the only reason so much information is being posted. Even so, I would imagine there are hundreds who are reading these posts who have more information to share but are scared to for fear of being caught. If anyone knows a former employee who isn't scared to speak up or even just a friend who may be willing to send a link to this site to Fortune, Ethisphere, the Ledger, etc., at least that is a start.

You would think the mass layoffs that are coming would generate a large number of unemployed who are willing to speak freely. However, I have seen many Aflac layoffs over the years, and often they will offer laid off employees a VERY small severance payment in exchange for a signed NDA that doesn't allow the employee to speak negatively of Aflac. Inevitably, employees are desperate enough to take the deal.

Leadership at Aflac is a joke. The main qualification you need to be an officer is the willingness to be spineless and promote the company's corrupt agenda at the expense of honest people. They are really good at brainwashing people. It's the real Aflac Way.

I'm not surprised that the head of the NY office denied any knowledge of the #aflaclayoffs. They stick together and cover for each other.

Up here in Albany, they haven't even told employees about the layoffs in Columbus. Can't have the minions worrying about their futures. We have ONE employee in IT up here. Today, she asked the head of the NY office about the layoffs, and he denied knowing anything about them. What great leadership--lying right to your employee's face!!
