Ok let me spell it out.
CiC severance would only apply if qcom was taken over and if they (brcm or whoever else) were to axe you, then the axed employee gets severance as laid out in go/cic. Let’s call this severance package A.
My question was did the person who was let go get a similar type of severance as package A or was it different / something else.
If Qualcomm were to let you go, technically they don’t have to give you wherever is detailed under cic. Therefore I was just wondering how this person’s severance was. Generous or otherwise.

So you got layoff package. So it is true that layoffs are happening @ Qualcomm ?
When is your departure date? I think they need a warn notice to cut as many as it sounds like they’re going to.
