IBEW Local 2222 will be hosting 2 Family Days on the Picket Lines, Thursday May 19th 4 PM-7 PM at the Dorchester Verizon Wireless Store (770 Gallivan Boulevard), and Saturday May 24th 2 PM-4 PM at 6 Bowdoin Square. Bring the kids, baby carriages, grandparents, friends and dogs too!!!

I can see it now, kids running around screaming, old people getting heat stroke and passing out, dogs fighting, and not being paid in almost a month. Are they out of their freaking minds???? That's exactly what I want to do..... Not !!!!

Yep, they're cleaning up the messes from when the union members walked away from doing their jobs. But, don't worry, they'll have everything running smoothly in time for the sale.
I guess you know more about copper wire than you do business. Those who invest in businesses seem to think those in charge of Verizon know what they are doing. The stocks keep going up as the union walks in circles.
Verizon is doing better than anyone else in this game due to skilled union employees not the top executives leadership. That's how we help verizon win. Look at these yahoo's in here now. Nobody CARES that you have a family and pets to care for. Nobody CARES that you want good jobs to keep your standard of living--cause guess what--WE ARE ALL DOING THE SAME THING. You sound like single mothers who made poor choices and cant make ends meet. And like her, you will end up at the welfare office if you keep demonstrating that you dont understand how the world works. It's 2016 and if you intend to survive this, you all better learn the language of business real fast and start speaking in dollars. You cry for good jobs but WHY do you deserve them? How can the unions help Verizon win and beat competition? What are the unions going to do to improve business process and sales? What tough choices are you going to make within your ranks to ensure survival of the group? What are you WORTH?? I can't even begin to explain how wrong this is. So, instead of teaching kids to respect others, use positive words, and be kind to others.....you're going to take them and let them watch their parents and other respected adults hurl slurs, threats, and curse words at others. Wow, Child Protective Services needs to be called and should be on hand to quickly remove children from the situation. I remember family day on the picket lines back in 84ish against at@t.. it gave me perspective, and foresight.. Not everyone in this country lives beyond their own means. See you all at the store that is selling nothing!

Summer camp might be an issue now. I know most of the BSA camps are paid before school is out. For us school is out in three weeks.
Funny. No it's a great way to teach your children to stand up for themselves and to not be used as door mats or better yet door knobs. Believe me this strike is going to change things. It's going to take time but it's going to make a difference.
I know it shouldn't be funny but I busted out laughing on the summer camp one. Hope this is over before then. What can possibly be accomplished by more time?
