For those claiming there are no layoffs, the guy I work with directly received his notice yesterday. Came out of nowhere. He's one of the best people I know. Been with the company for over a decade. Hardworking and unlike many others, he actually knows what he's doing. I don't understand the logic behind this move, except maybe wanting to get somebody they can pay less than him. Really not feeling safe right now...

They are not removing any stations. That rumor spread last year in Hop and was squashed immediately. We still have them today with no plans of being removed.

There are too few people, earning too little money, to support the bloated hierarchical authority structure in the lifestyle to which they've become accustomed, so many directors, ORSD's, VP and Managers .

So glad I left EMC 2 years ago just before the merger was announced. If nothing else at least I still have coffee and cookies nearby at my work.

I saw a 20+ year vet in Ireland announce he is no longer with EMC. Big loss. Don't expect big layoffs just constant trickle of layoffs to stay out of the news. If you don't think people are getting let go or leaving you are blind.
