Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Should I report TMs for theft?

Hi, nearly everyone at my store is stealing product (not cash). It's stupid stuff (like a bottle of shampoo or a 12-pack of beer, or some apples, or not paying for lunch) nothing major but it happens nearly every shift. It's kind of the worst kept secret, but I feel like I should report them but to who? Even my ASTL is taking stuff. I believe in the mission of WFM and want to stay and grow with this company, and hate to see this happen!

Ok. How about the misappropriation of cap ex funds to the exclusive benefit of crooked "executives" which is all buried by cook-book accounting. #"foodies"means"amateur" #LOL.exe

Everyone is in the witness protection program. That's if you got the plums. Remember: divide and conquer, threats, fear, intimidation and retaliation are the playbook of the unoriginal, small-minded and nepotized. Just keep your head on a swivel. Its never the wrong time to do the right thing. Its heavy lifting I know. The high road always is. That's why choad loaders never take it and for that their elevator ride is down, down, down and down in a suit of flames.

"Shrink" is 99.9% employee theft and is rampant. Just wink, turn your head and cough. That's what my team "leader" does (can anyone say "kickback"?). Also, Regional "All Star" awards and Global "All Star" awards are the real kickback gravy train. Get on board grunts and start greasing the wheels if you ever plan on getting ahead. T*ts always help too if you got the right chromosomes.

I personally would never steal, but I would keep my nose out of other people doing it. That is on them.

If this is a real question and not a weird trolling thing, just know that nothing is anonymous at WFM! Including the tip line. So whoever you tattle on will absolutely know that it was you.

Since you are so observant and interested in what everyone else is doing, maybe see if you can find anything more interesting going on in your workplace than petty theft by hourly employees.

Don't bother! I would just turn a blind eye. Just remember, that they are stealing from you, so someone has to steal from them. As long as it's not you!

I mean you still shouldn't steal stuff. If you don't like the company that's fine but it's still pretty sh--ty to steal stuff. If you want more money or better schedule or whatever find another job.

You should call the TM tipline. You can remain anonymous if you want to 1-888-662-5025

You may have to sign a statement if I'm not mistaken-- if WFM works the same as others as I have never been in that situation– and be sure that is what's happening. Isn't there an anonymous site/number you can report to? Also, whoever writes the weird snitch stuff or justifies theft is not worth protecting in my opinion. They undermine any genuine challenge people might be facing at any employer and demonstrate the maturity, standards and morals that so many say they represent. I don't think people who quote Ted Geisel ( Watch them scramble to google that) should be taken seriously. They clearly don't care about anything but acting like a clown and I'm sorry for anyone has to work with them.

If you work in the farm, you should eat in the farm. Why spoil the party when STLs get 70% EVA bonus when they can't even lift a can of Tuna. Now thats broad day light stealing.
