Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel in talks to acquire a startup where LBT is the chairman? Is this legal?

Left hand to buy the right hand? Is it legal for Intel to buy a startup (not doing well at all) owned by the same CEO? Is it financial game/scam that Lip-Bu Tan is playing?

They failed in technical DD a few months ago.
Didn't succeed to raise more $$ at their unbelievable $5B previous valuation.
Sambanova data flow architecture not aligned with Intel CPU or GPU programming model ...

So LBT send Sachin and new hires to clean the sh-t for him ... He obviously not "involved"

He’s got to find some way to spend all that cash he just got from the govt and other places…. now that the HC has been shrunk down not much is spent on employees.

It's not illegal by itself, but definitely creates perception of a massive conflict of interest, so any board with a shred of spine would block it and probably kick out the CEO immediately. I wish we had one.

It is only illegal to employees. It is ok with CEOs and other non employees because they create the laws.
