Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Media question

What is the total number of jobs and percentage of layoffs?
Are major projects like Wink to Webster still happening - any details ?
What information did you want to see in the news ?
If you would like me to contact you - let me know.

Thank you

The rankings were altered to a minimum of 8% according to all the relevant data. So it is safe to assume that the percentage could have been a percentage point, or so, higher but none of the data is documented so it is guess work.

The PR for XOM will say the performance is ranked by the supervisor. However the caveats is they are still ranking against other supervisors and the next CL level or two above them.

The October number will still be “Muddy Waters” as XOM is still actively recruiting and will probably even bring back some contractors to complete/initiate work (I know that will get a lot of push back but.... Have they really told the whole truth this year about anything before they were caught/in process already?).

Nothing was well covered by Bloomberg. All they stated was that forced ranking into NSI went from 3% to 8%. That doesn't exactly mean 8% is guaranteed to be let go.

Number of people actually let go is not documented nor published, so any reporting on it is guess work.

For the 8% PIP, everyone is ASSUMING that everyone PIP'D is going to be let go (may not be the actual case but will know more in October)

Can someone investigate how the entire organization from low level employees to executives at the highest level s—ed of resources for their benefits and may have created a culture that legally defrauded the investors. Just look at XOM stock performance in the last decade or so vs all of the standard market indexes. Even within the Oil and Gas sector EM's performance was way below other majors.

The investors are paying the bill of incompetence and greed of few/many but the real question is who is going to make those who are responsible for the debacle accountable? #AmericanGreed
