What's the scoop on the latest "Bob live"? Is Bakish wanted by the Fed's? The guy is on the lam - hasn't been anywhere in person and hasn't spoken on any media or finance channels - everywhere the guy appears is virtual Redstone is heading to Media Conference in Tahoe - looks like Bakish was either denied access or avoiding in-person appearance

It’s upsetting to continue to see people post that this has also been their experience at Viacom. I know it can be discouraging to speak out even on these anonymous boards because the boot lickers will jump in to shame you, but we should all continue to call out ViacomCBS for the various ways they mistreat their employees. Idk who needs to hear this, but try to empathize and listen to your fellow coworkers instead of just writing them off as lazy or spouting “just leave”...These working conditions aren’t acceptable, and it isn’t just Viacom. The system needs to change. Continue to speak out. We need to put the pressure on now more than ever or nothing will ever improve. A multi–million dollar company shouldn’t be able to fire hundreds of their employees, leaving them without health insurance during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC the very same week Bob assured everyone that the merger lay offs would be put on hold. Were there performance reviews for 2020? I heard that the company is not doing performance reviews anymore.

curious, this was experience I had with Viacom over 15 plus years, the WHOLE time. our larger division had on going layoffs ENTIRE time I was there. when big layoffs happened, it was worse, but it came as no surprise to us workload would increase. workload ALWAYS stayed same if not more, just LESS people to do it. they tried to push as hard as they could, stress test what was capable of existing employees in regards to work load. people stressed themselves out to keep up. Once a breaking point happened, meaning people left or so many mistakes were made it cost money, they reluctantly hired a few people here and there to lighten load. now , this was SOP in my division, what I am curious about is are you an CBS employees that absorbed into Viacomcbs? Because most Viacom employees, unless you were one of the lucky departments, this is nothing new. from what I understand, could be wrong, bulk of layoffs came from CBS side. I keep seeing, not just here, but other forums/boards about workload, when I ask, its almost always former CBS employees. it seems as if CBS treated people a tad better. Viacom folks, nothing new, same old. same old. again could be wrong, but they seem to be doing things the Viacom way. as always ........good luck to you all. it s—s to be put in these positions.
