I know there are going to be huge waves of layoffs (I mean it’s kinda happening already…), and I know being a low performer will only be more negative in this situation. But honestly speaking, ever since they announced that 300 million cut, all I think is I need to get out of here. I put more focus on resume and job hunting. I lost my motivation to get up early in the cold weather and deal with the traffic to go to the office not knowing what will happen. I feel sorry for my managers but I really have 0 passion in the company…
So I’m very curious, how do you all still stay positive and motivated under this sh---y circumstance?

Hah leave then. I'm sure wherever you end up will never face hardship or ever have to lay off employees. Whether they tell you or not, you're always on the chopping block. That's the motivation. Unless your mommy gave you a silver spoon, you're about to starve to death. Get familiar with your states' EBT program.
I just kick back and know my purpose and purple passion will prepare me for the day. #oneteam

Grow up you hateful little man (I presume). People who get promoted to managers are hardly all POS. What a terrible outlook on life and people.
Sweet Lew’s BBQ should keep you more than enough motivated.
Think about how hungry you will be if unemployed, not to mention the bill collectors!
Use motivation to find a job!
SunTruist is terrible at making decisions and loves to lose. Your unmotivated self is probably turning leadership on.
Do NOT feel sorry for your manager as he/she/they/it will most likely stay employed so look out for yourself. For me personally, i come to work everyday and do the best I can - Integrity first & foremost is my motto and I never burn bridges. Layoffs happen. All we can do is hope for the best and plan for the worst. Beyond that it's out of our control. Good luck!
