House Calls just got word they are doing layoffs this week starting tomorrow.

Signify Health is hiring. They are a part of what President Trump is doing. They do house calls. I sent an email and let them know what UHC is doing and asked them if they were expanding into all states. I would send an email also and apply online. I wish everyone luck.
As far as House Calls NPs go, I don't know how they could lay off, especially when they set this years goal so high, everybody is slammed and booked months out. But it could happen nonetheless. This is a very (useless) management heavy department so nobody would feel much of an impact if they let some of them go. Note to NPs: do not do the Apex, it raises your base salary and makes you more of a target (and more of a threat to your manager) You're better off hitting your monthly targets instead.
Also, most of us are over 40 and somewhat tenured. If they want to hire these younguns straight outta school, you're going to have a reduction in capture rates. Besides, they can make more money elsewhere.
Layoffs will have 2 days. Get you’re resume updated as they will read from a script and walk you out immediately.
No employee is safe. all employment at will doctrines mean they can get rid of us for any reason no reason at time. That was America. Profits and TPS reports, and corporate sing alongs with folks thinking that doing this will help them?! LOL
They have been laying off housecalls practitioners all along. If you are tenured and older than 40, then look out. Update your resumes and get out while you can on your own terms. Or at least take all of your PTO or lose it to the company as they do not have to pay it when you leave or get laid off. There is something about at will work policies; they only help the corporations. They can lay you off for no reason. Good luck and God bless you all. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
