Gen Y and Gen Zs are on the right track of being entrepreneurs instead of working for a company. This mess is a prime example of why you own your destiny. Stressing month over month will you have a job, having to accept what the elite say you can have. Now 20, 30 years later it hits you like a brick, that with all the Trump tax cuts, greed stll rules the day!! Salute your kids who attempt start-ups...they will win in the long run. Stop being stupidly loyal to VZ, see this giant as is.... GREEDY!! and YOU will never matter!!

Points made are valid -- look at how the capitalism market functions, or doesn't - and you come to the conclusion that you either are:
Incredibly lucky AND
Hard working almost to a fault (aka Steve Jobs Elon Musk)
or
Talent for hire
Personally, I get option #2 since that allows me more time w/family.
Best wishes to you all - I got separated some 2+ years ago by an id--t manager transitioned to VzW from a failed business that was bought by VzW (thanks Lowell)...
The one or two percent are the only ones winning here...
Our kids can do it because they are covered by our Verizon health insurance until age 26. If I didn't have to worry about health insurance, some things would be different.
The Y/Z Kids get coddled life concepts as they shirk individual responsibility. Bring along a great depression level event and Darwinism > skinny jeans, avacado toast and pop-up Instagram events.

I used to do the gig economy until I needed a steady job to show income to buy a house and get good benefits. If you think things are volatile in a big company, you have no idea what the entrepeneur economy is like, in which you could make a killing, but it's hard to make a living.
I agree. Been trying to figure out what would be a good virtual job or business to get into. Give so much time to this company and all I get is stress back.
