Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Better Matters!!!

Data and video services have been terrible in my neighborhood for more than a month now. After sitting on hold for over an hour with the fsc, I finally gave up and decided to check out the online tech support. Funny, the online tech support chat and the ability to enter a service issue online have been disabled and there is a message regarding the strike, advising to call the 800 number for all technical support issues. Just for $hits and giggles I joined the Verizon support blog and found that customers are being given install dates almost 8 weeks out. Wow!!! How on earth do Bobby Smudge and Marc Greed still have jobs?

I just checked in to VZ Dispatch System . Most new jobs are Install Date - LATE June or after .

Nothin from nothin but norm before was 3-5 days .

I know because I have to call in Dig tickets and get buried work done on time . like first legal dig Date.

oh BTW , Hundreds of jobs backed up . Very very little being done .

@jwb, Lack of management is the reason you waited so long to have service installed while there was no strike. Customers are now waiting 8 weeks for installations because those same incompetent managers are out in the field, not having a clue as to how the job should be done.

@aod, "Useless post here." A so called communications company that eliminates ways to contact them for technical support and instructs customers to call an 800 number where you sit on hold for more than an hour....I'd hardly consider that useless information.

@wiz, I'm not "concerned" about those in my neighborhood whatsoever. Most have already canceled Verizon services since the strike. I was simply showing how ironic it is that the Verizon executives and scabs like yourself continue to say how great everything is, yet the truth is the exact opposite. By the way, you post like you have the IQ of a neanderthal.

OP you walk off the job by yourself. Right now you want to be a good man who concerns about your neighborhood and customers' wellbeing. You are just crying crocodile tears.
