V Team Day Flop

It seems the highlight of the V Team Day activities was a fashion show trying to get employees to purchase branded V Team Gear... Maybe it's because I've been around long enough to remember when we used to get a free new tee shirt almost every month, but I have a bit of a hang up about giving any of my hard earned money back to the company to buy branded gear to turn myself into a walking billboard. Hans and his C Suite team are so out of touch

Shankar is working intensely with the marketing organization to come up with VTeam t-shirts with RFID tags stitched in so its easier to track those about to be RIF'ed.

Basically it was a 'Thank You for your work here, but most of you won't be around here soon because of less revenue coming in. And the executives must have their bonuses!'

It was a V-Team day, but not about the V-Team.... It was about new brand apparel that is overpriced where the shipping is as much as the product. It was about what we sell, which we already know. It was about hunger games over tickets to swag that should have been given to everyone.

If it was about the team, there would have been actual team activities throughout the day - not a volunteer event that you had to sign up for way in advance.

That camera angle when they hit the end of the runway was something else.

I didn't understand the purpose at all and it was so forced.

Plus, leadership "changes the logo" or the messaging, rendering your purchased t-shirt to the rag bin.
