Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Welcome to the Great Resentment

A great vibe shift is underway—and it’s not that one. It’s the one that’s deeply felt in both boardrooms and break rooms, a dramatic change in workplace power. The boss is back in charge in a way that comes down to four simple words: “Because I said so.” It’s the sequel to the Great Resignation, when labor shortages forced business leaders to fork over once-in-a-generation raises and signing bonuses. Welcome to the Great Resentment.

All the talent is in the Def Met team! They are super heros!

No talents. Talent people are squeezed by nonsense non-talent and politicians. Intel is full of people without technical skills, but pretending that they know everything. And “cheating” in management layers is the biggest problem.

Oh look the OP must be a PE who can copy, paste and plagiarize from an article and post it here just like the copy and paste BS Fuzion Game-plans. Way to go OP you really stepped up to the plate with this post.

@b6 lots of layoffs left in Intel's future. You will earn your spot in one of them soon. No one owes you a job.

Managers who laid off the most people to save their jobs got laid off themselves. I saw a manager that didn't lay off anyone and wasn't affected at all by the layoffs.

As God intended.

@b6 Alligator alcatraz was built for individuals like you. Trump saved america by building it ahead of schedule.

Welp, I'm starting a new thing. It's called The Great Defiance. It's when employees get fed up with being di-ked over, in favor of propping up rich people's investments.

These employees have adopted the same oppositional tactics used against them, perhaps in more subtle ways.

A mistake not corrected in time, key information withheld or poorly communicated, questions unanswered, resources wasted. All these and many more coming to an office shithole near you!

We are entering a new era with the explosion of startups and sole traders. Everyone will be their own boss. Corporations are going to get into deep $hit for finding talent in 5 to 10 years.

I like this part:

"Perhaps CEOs are lashing out because they aren’t so safe themselves: Turnover in the top job hit a five-year high in 2023 and has stayed escalated since. "

sounds about right. AI would make a perfect CEO and board of directors. Just tell it to act like a complete sociopath with a fiduciary duty to the shareholders.
