Thread regarding BNSF Railway layoffs

Superintendents on the chopping block

Word is Temple, Slaton, Topeka, Barstow, Corwith, Belen, and KC superintendents and GF3s and some GF2s are being let go periodically. Too many incidents, delays, and poor management decisions resulting in power availability being reduced, overly centralized maintenance resulting in lost contracts due to inability effectively manage locomotive fleet and compete with freight delivery

Told you they’d delete the post….didnt take long for them to remove the post identifying the supervisors that were posting for BNSF in temple, lets you know exactly who or what supervisors in Temple were posting the super or company messages…very specific including names and titles and the layoff deleted it

Think about what it means that BNSF is watching this site and flagging comments for deletion. Big Orange has cut hundreds of jobs this year to save a buck, cutting both union and mid/low level management. But they're happy to pay employees to read websites and try to delete posts they don't like.

Are all of the senior "leaders" name Karen?????

Like it’s pretty eye opening when BNSF managers get on here and post pro company messages, knowing that most of them have failed marriages, kids that hate them based on the deceptive characteristics the company teaches them and they take home and use on their families, and the manipulation tactics they utilize on employees resulting in failed friendships outside of company men that pretend to befriend them only to kn--e them in the back to advance. At the end of the day employees don’t respect management as they are not role models nor do they lead by example, at best they are understood yes men, and understanding some is not the same as respecting them. Its rare to see many managers actually even retire as managers, most go back to their receptive crafts, as a company that’s telling, then in a career a person who advances as a quote in quote leader doesn’t even want to be a leader through the entirety of their career. Pi-s poor management by people who really don’t even care to be managers, is a BNSF staple. So when I see su-k a-s supervisors post d-mb cr-p like let’s be part of a team, it’s like now you have given up everything of value from family, to quality personal characteristics, to your dignity, only to eventually be cut or go back a craft you did dirty for years.

H3nry was one of the good superintendents that actually knew a thing or two about wrenching on locomotives. Sad to say most in upper management dont have that skillset. Take this as a sign of where this company is headed. Dont be surprised when shops start getting leased out to 3rd parties and scabs hired to perform the work.

You guys all just post negative stuff on here. The company has a job to do and they can’t please everyone. Most of your posts are false. Let’s all hop on board the BNSF train and try to make this company great again! #TeamBNSF

If you mention demond, Moreno, Soto, stone, or anyone of the ones going around issuing warnings or doing the cuts, the layoff will delete your comment, or it will be flagged to prevent specifics of who and how, including specific persons in management being cut, furthermore the company has IT tracking or attempting to track specific comments via ip or vpn, so if you post use a vpn hider, protect your jobs and put out the information

He was a good dude. He pushed back. There would have been more layoffs if he hadn’t fought it. His fighting for his guys put a target on his back and his new boss, cmo D-mbond made an excuse to ax him.

This is the culture BNSF has created in it's management ranks. They encourage competition instead of teamwork. 'Yes men' are rewarded with promotions. This leads to backstabbing and betrayal. Those in power are now carrying out vengeful hits against their enemies and anyone else in their way to the top.

Topeka Supt was fired Wednesday. Haven't heard of any other supts getting cut. There's certainly several who should have been cut before the Topeka guy. He was a good dude.
