Communication seems eerily quiet since the ominous Calderoni message. Having no accountability with people in the office makes cullings and execution that much easier.

With a big bonus from not having to deal with the emotions and questions from a live human audience at the Nov 18 employee meeting.

My guess is before the GEM. There's no way it drags out over 6 months. They'll want to show the reduced payroll costs and show investors we're leaner ASAP. They'll also want to take the charge for the packages in '21 and not have it hit '22. They've already written off '21 with investors but need to show a strong and positive start to '22.

I think it will not be next week. The obvious product areas not doing well and low performing employees in all areas may see some impact if at all, but it’s not a one time cut. Over the next 6 months, a more diligent consolidation and restricting is expected. I don’t think Bob has a fully baked strategy yet.

Plus many areas have a lot of redundancy and over staffing - thanks to rampant hiring and lenient promotions handed over by VPs / SVPs to have them feel good on their bigger orgs and people with bloated roles compared to others. Those areas will see corrections only later.
