There's a big difference between being trained half assed under ideal conditions and actually doing the job in the real world in the freezing cold & snow. They can train 5 X 1, after a week they will drop like flies and so will the customer base.
If the union was working for its members you would have gone out as soon as the contract expired, now that VZ owns all of wireless they have taken folks way down on the food chain to back fill your positions. Why keep the union when they can force wireless to do the job cheaper? And trust me, they have trained at least two wireless guys for every union member. We are both screwed. Thanks a pant load.
