How would you change CB&I

The company has their issues there is no questioning that. I wonder how things might be different if we trained their upper management teams in better communication skills. In my years with the company (HR) one of the main complaints is how managers do not properly communicate. We have lost many good employees uselessly. I've seen it personally, because they disagree with their superior. In reading these posts it is obvious how this is a problem. How would you suggest this issue be fixed?

Management is poor,communication is poor. People are asked to work on demand,without any hopes or aspirations of getting a raise or promotion unless you're related to someone in management.

Most of these grown "adults" that come here to vent, or better yet, to cry; don't have the guts to say it an open forum to make a positive constructive change instead of passing the blame off on others. No matter what company you work for, they all have their ups and downs, but what can YOU do to better the situation? If you say nothing, then you are obviously close-minded and have the self-portrait that you're perfect, when in all reality, nobody is. Everyone from the top, down can change something to make the situation better for all involved.

What projects, all of them, including the shops because of CMS. Corporate is unyielding in making a variance. Most of the CMS writers have no clue of how it actually works in the field and go by what sounds good on paper.

Do away with CMS. The attitude that "one-size-fits-all" mentality of CMS proves that management doesn't understand their different divisions.

Reduce the home office overhead charges on projects outside of The Woodlands. The Woodlands adds only constraint, no real value.

First I would unfasten its dirty diaper and pull it off and drop it into the diaper pale. Make sure that the lid is on so the retarded lab doesn't get it as a snack. Lift its legs and use plenty of premoistened baby wipes to clean its bottom and genital region. Apply powder. Put a new diaper underneath its netherregions. Lower the legs. Fasten tabs. Then hopefully CB&I WONT BE ABLE TO Sh-- ALL OVER YOU.

Well one issue with ours is communication. Badly. Isn't so fun having to rework someone's mess up cause they read the iso backwards... oh yeah.. maybe get bosses that speak more English then other languages.. hard for me to understand.

Be compassionate, no matter what you do. I get the business side, sometimes cuts have to happen, but whatever you do be nice to people.
