Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

The end goal

I've been trying to figure out what could be the ELTs end goal here, but I can't. Other than destroying the company (which makes no sense since they'd lose their golden goose as well). So can somebody tell me what's the aim of the strategy that is getting rid of all the talent and institutional knowledge and reducing overall headcount to the point where there aren't enough people left to do all that needs to be done? I'm stumped.

New Omaha (aka KKR) only has 62million shares left (from 220,000,000 at fisv integration) I guess they only to "clover is the next Apple" speech for another 12-18 months.

@cue gaslighting.. eps profit by percentage all lower than prior to merger. Employee SAT.. client LTR all in the tank. Yes your correct the company has shed 25 percent of its work force sure your #Fiservproud there.

How about publish the numbers of associates 50+ years of age and number of years experience on the platform/financial products.

Strange the alternate universe this has site has become. Even the malcontents know none of this is true beyond the hard feelings of those who were originally hired years ago in locations without a Fiserv site. The numbers since the merger have gone up in revenue, eps, profits, client and associate sat. Headcount is down based on merger savings committee to wallstreet, beyond that the company has never done better.

KKR says that if you are feeling depressed, just go to ToysRUs and buy yourself something there. That always made you feel better when you were a kid.

The responder is correct and the original poster says that because they care about doing the right thing and performance. Which just highlights what horrible humans are running things now. You’ve got some really good people, be leaders

The KKR rule book says to soak every single dollar out of the firm into the pockets of management and then let it be sold off to somebody else willing to by a corpse. Then managements gets paid off and runs away. They will find another firm to destroy and soak after their golden parachute deals give them months on a beach.
