LBT steal the credit? Teams at Nvidia and Intel have been working in secret on jointly developed processors for a year

The work began around a year ago, and preliminary agreements were reached by Intel's then-CEO Pat Gelsinger and Nvidia's Jensen Huang even before that. (A year ago, Joe Biden was president, though no one suggested his administration was involved, either.)

--> Did LBT steal the credit without giving credit to PG who worked with Jensen on the joint product a year ago ?

Not just LBT. It is Intel culture of stealing other credits. We cannot solve this problem.

Isn’t taking credit for others’ work part of the job description?

Makes sense. Wouldn't much of anybody who kisses Trump's rings.

@bb the project was already in the work during Pat times, not LBT.

In any environment, hard work and the right skill set will only get you so far. You could be the one to cure cancer, but if the right doors aren't opened, it will never happen.
If I had to guess:

The old adage, "it's not what you know, it's who you blow" has always been accurate.
And before anyone starts squawking - life ain't fair. And anyone who believes DEI levels this out has been partaking a bit too much.

@bb

I honestly believe that LBT is benefitting from a lot of external circumstances. If you followed his entire career, that's how it's been. "Got lucky".

It is quite different from CEOs that really had to fight agains strong headwinds to make things work. I admire this type, not the former.

But that's just me.

No credit due yet, show me the wildly successful product?
Is this the end of Intel Graphics division?

LBT is CEO of Intel and this news gives the company huge potential to disrupt again, teaming up with anyone to stay relevant. Why wouldn't he be front and center for the good news?

Arrow lake is underwhelming. Lunar lake should have scaled up. Intel 18A and 14A are the big question mark. Will even Intel prod use them? TSMC is peerless and outside of packaging what will Intel fabs be used for?
