Regional Visits?!?

There’s nothing better than a good ole regional visit 8 days before Christmas!! A total of 20 executives (more than we have on the support staff) walking around and not helping or lifting one pinky. Clapping and cheering across the store as the staff is completely burned out!! Well done…insert clapping emoji here

I guess this is what you need to do to look important and stay relevant but truthfully…YOU ARE OUT OF TOUCH!! STAY HOME and read your sales reports some more!

I wonder how many of these needless regional positions will be cut?
They are off this week enjoying their Christmas holiday. Their lazy a—es should be in the stores preparing for inventory. And by that I mean physically working instead of pointing.
Oh wait the regionals are not required to work. Silly me to think that would happen.
Instead they’ll hide behind their computers and phones and shout out orders to the understaffed, underpaid and burnt out store employees.
This company never ceases to amaze me.

Did you have to go outside on a super busy day and clap and greet the regional team like our DVP makes us do when our regional team comes out to visit? We had a regional visit a couple of weeks ago and everyone had to go and make a big show of how much we love have the regional team come to our store.

We were ki----g ourselves with fulfillment and the regional boss lady and her toadies even visited the dock which was completely loaded with merchandise, they asked us what our plan was and our manager simply said that we don't have enough people and they asked why were weren't running overnight shifts, like who wants to work overnight, don't see them working overnight. They left and every manager in the store who had been working every day for a week left right behind them with captains running the store the rest of the day and almost no one in the building for the weekend.

We used to have leaders who understood how to recognize and celebrate during this time of year, people who actually rolled up their sleeves and helped a store. Now we have politicians with huge egos who only care about themselves. If only their was some way for employees to band together and be represented so they could get fair wages and working conditions.

These clowns are trying to justify their positions. Hey JG here’s an idea get rid of these lazy arrogant b-ms. Talk about a waste of payroll.
Store associates are ki----g themselves to try to stay afloat and now we have to deal with this needless pressure of a regional visit.
Don’t come and put on your fake show telling the store how much we are appreciated.
Management proved they could care less about the rank and file when they started paying new hires more than tenured employees.
Take your visits and all your BS and stick it where the sun don’t shine!

The majority of these executives are dead weight and aren't even needed.

There really is no need for the executives to make their rounds in Macy's spreading fake cheering, clapping and sending out candy canes while looking down their noses at employees that help keep the stores afloat. The majority of executives are truly out of touch with the daily operation of Macy's stores.
