Thread regarding CBRE layoffs

CBRE Amazon HR workers next to be laid off

CBRE Amazon HR workers next to be laid off. I work in an internal position at CBRE close to the CEO and they’re going to start layoffs in March 2023 as Amazon is going to reacquire their hiring processes again. No longer will be CBRE source their talent shortly. Start looking!

Worked for Amazon before, during and after COVID…company changed, Bezos leaving, you were no longer an individual but a number…so is safe to say CBRE did along with them…recently let go through a completely BIASED process from CBRE…never let your employer know you have a disability…not all veterans are honorable people…I am sorry that each of you are going through a lay off…been through two myself…and it hard to bounce back

Manufacturing jobs are declining in Amazon and all over thanks to automation and AI implementations. Bigger CBRE layoffs are coming soon.

I got laid off today. I was sourcing talent for Amazon facilities. I knew this job was too good to be true. Sigh.

Confirmed ! Worked for a CBRE subsidiary that was exclusive to Amazon. Our positions were liquidated yesterday. Hope this helps

CBRE is in fact laying off employees. They’ve given a layoff date of 12/15/23. Horrible severance package and also right before Christmas. This company is disgusting. They should be ashamed of themselves. They pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for the signing of a commercial lease but layoff the ones who are the backbone of their company. I how they crash and burn.

lol and they just sent me a 'thank you' box with lotions, tea, and stuff - someone told me this is so they won't be mad when they layoff and let people go, I feel it coming!

Think about it, CBRE is in reality just a “contractor” for Amazon. They’re letting go of these types of positions the way Apple has so they don’t have to cut into more Amazon employed layoffs.
