I as laid off in July 2018 when my store closed. I need to get my W2 and I haven't received it already. Is there somewhere a website where I can download my Sears W2 form for 2018? Or, should I reach out to HR (not sure who in HR would be responsible for W2s) or some finance group that's in charge of W2s? Please let me know. 88 sears is bull. I left my job in the summer. Other have got their w2's, but when I try to login, it say I am not found. If they purged me from then system I am screwed. I worked in Charolttesville, Va and my manage said everybody got them. I go the Sears HR, and they don't know me. Under law, don't they have to submit a W2 to the IRS, or can they make me disappear. I have my workers ID# and a recipt when I bought a tractor under my name. That's proof enough I worked there. WTF do I do?
You can also call 88sears. They'll walk you through it if you agreed to get it electronically. If you didn't, all companies have until the 31st to get them to employees through the mail.
If you have a paper W2 it will come in the mail. If you had electronic delivery then you will have to sign into the employee portal and enter your SSN and PIN
I got mine on Monday. I live in Florida.
I got my W-2 in the mail today. Yours might arrive tomorrow.
