More Omnissa Employees Want New Leadership

We seem to have reached a breaking point. Our team meeting discussions demonstrate that we reject executive lies about the financial state of our business. Most employees I know have started to acknowledge that we desperately need new leadership at Omnissa.

"Nothing will change until Shankar goes."

Agreed, KKR can't just backfill this CEO role with another culture custodian that seeks to protect the status quo of apathy. They also must finish what they started, by firing all the remaining SVPs. We need a clean sweep of the past, to give the turnaround a chance.

Omnissa is dead. Move on. You already lost RSUs and got fu---d. Why even bother?

I agree that KKR's talk of growth is nonsense. We are stuck in a 'survival mode' of day-to-day operations, attempting to fix numerous unresolved business model challenges that were created years ago. I see no way to rectify our dire situation with status-quo leaders.

The officers of the Titanic are deathly quiet even though it can clearly be seen that the waters are getting perilously close to the boat deck. Time to get on a lifeboat folks to a rescue ship. All the internal channels are quiet, few emails being sent out, the software is crumbling apart, all the genuine tech personal have left bar a couple and all that rest are fake it till you make people who simply cannot do the job. All senior management should be canned as they are all destructive bare face liars but instead they are rewarded with promotions and pay rises while genuine workers that are left are encouraged to leave, pushed out or secretly denied pay rises and promotions.

Nothing will change until Shankar goes.

But... but... but... Shankar was a better choice for vmware CEO than Raghu!

Nothing will change until Shankar goes. Everyone in the "leadership team" is trying to hang on for as long as possible. They are institutionalised and don't have the knowledge or experience to rebuild as a standalone business under PE ownership. RR couldn't even pronounce EBITDA let alone understand it and using him as the sacrificial lamb is not going to fool KKR. The reality is KKR are prepared to accept lower revenue growth for increased profit but not forever. Doing the same old stuff and expecting different results will accelerate their own demise.

They already replaced several top people in the sales org. What about marketing? We have the VP/CMO from the same VMware org that failed to solve our EUC growth issues. We can't even retain the customers that we already have, so why is KKR still talking about growing the revenue at Omnissa. It just makes no sense.

When I think about all the current challenges, I just can't imagine any of Shankar's direct reports being ready to take over. I just hope that KKR is prepared to get us someone from the outside qualified to reboot the turnaround effort. It's a big job for any new leader.
