I remember back in 2020 when Elliott first held up the red card, all of my purple flag waving co-workers swore that Elliott was wrong and didn't know what they were talking about. Fast forward to today, Elliott hits us with the facts and not one of the purple flag wavers had anything to say. They know the truth. I had fun rubbing in their faces.

He won't be humiliated. He'll walk away with 10s of millions if not 100s and have another job at the same level as soon as he chooses. Or not - he can always just retire.

Ben made a bad choice. And when j was making the rounds In 16/17 saying "debt is good". Not one person said no. He was a " genius". Friggin middle mgmt kiss as--s. No debt not good - you wouldn't do it at home. I remember saying what? That doesn't make sense and my mgr telling me to shut it. J and his "enterprise value". Now there's too much debt and no cash. Ya enterprise value is maxed but the company is frozen. freaking mo--n. Thought he found a magic bullet and no one told him no.

@anonymous We’ve already been told we’re lucky to have a job. Can it get any worse? Might as well enjoy the fireworks and watch JB get humiliated while we wait for our end dates.

Anytime you have activist investor it never ends well for the employee. Top level management will walk away with millions. The money mangers (Elliot) will squeeze every penny out of the assets while the rank and file will be told your lucky to have a job.

@ezt+1pNUrZAA, SP and Phoenix will be closed to save money, as they should. DS would never be considered for CEO. An outsider will be brought in. As for the fiber business, maybe Digital Colony or some other private equity fund will pick it up for pennies on the dollar.

If Elliot has their way, Crown will sell the fiber business to be someone who can actually run it. Then DS can become CEO, save SP, Phoenix and Crown and we can all go back to working at a profitable company again.

They called for j to be removed back then too. It doesn't hold the weight you think it does. It is making j hold onto fiber like a dog w a bone though which is ki-ling the company. Fibers cr-p returns are multiplied by crowns horrible, horrible customer, vendor and municipality service skills and forcing it under mgrs and directors who have no idea what to do with it.

Which mo--n said "Crown is fine"? Not surprising for the trash and ignorance that is normally posting on this site. Clueless.

Our top investor just came out and publicly called our CC for being an epic failure, but sure every thing is fine. Keep drinking that cool aid and believing that.

The reality is this... the core and only truly profitable business for CC was and continues to be Towers. Small Cell & Fiber have been epic failures and continue to erode away the financial stability of what this company was built on. The numbers don't lie.

They released the letter and presentation. Callling for JB to be removed and fiber to be reviewed.

Crown selling the fiber will never happen. PERIOD.

Elliot started pushing for change in 2019. A 4 /5 year investment is hardly a pump and dump. They called it back then - fiber is a dog. They want to force a sell off. It's the fiber folks that need to get moving. J is doubling down by cutting the tower business. D-mb.

lol You can’t just dump $2 billion in stock after it runs up a few percentage points. This isn’t your fidelity account and your 10 shares you trade.

This time around, Elliott has 2b worth of stock as opposed to the 1b that they held when they first pushed for change.

Honestly, I think this is a pump and dump play for them. Word is out that they’re pushing for change so day traders are going to buy up the stock thinking that Elliott activists will actually guide us to long term solvency. But once the stock hits Elliott’s target, Elliott will dump it leaving everybody else holding the bag.

There is no way to fix our mess. Crown is dead and the vultures are just looking to pick the bones before we dissolve.

Looks like EMT will have a pre recorded company conversation now.

Numbers don't lie, fiber ki-led our margins. Street knows it.

Article says, “Elliott urged Crown Castle to focus on higher-return opportunities and pushed the company to address its ‘long-tenured’ board. Crown Castle responded by implementing a mandatory board-retirement policy and refreshing its director slate.”

Hmmm…Sounds like it’s time for the EMT to dust-off and update THEIR resumes. What goes around comes around. All upper and middle managers, and their employee “friends, relatives and those they babied” should all be very worried for THEIR jobs. The clown “castle” is slowly crumbling brick (EMT) by brick (managers - upper and mid level).

Maybe it’s time for ALL clown castle offices to close and be consolidated into the remaining Houston office. That way the remaining EMT and managers can hold hands and sing kumbaya around a camp fire with marshmallows while reminiscing about the “good ‘ol’ days” and the people they laid off. Hey, you never know, you may find yourself being interviewed by someone previously laid off.

Dollars to donuts, this is the reason why our CFO announced his departure.
