Getting laid off from Lenovo is the best thing that can happen to you. I have no sympathy for any id--ts that remained during the great resignation. So many jobs out there at so many other companies. You didn't even have to search. If your LinkedIn was updated, resume up to date, turn on looking for opportunities, you would have been hired in less than a month. It didn't matter how good or bad you are.
If you stay there, you are willfully accepting getting laid off. For some it is a great position. An old co-worker got in the F you! point. He told our manager he won't work more than 20 hours a week. It took 18 months for the manager to finally lay him off. He did half a-s work for the limited work he did do. He would go on vacation unannounced for 2-3 weeks, no check-in, no OOO message. Just used the unlimited vacation with no care. Got let go and enjoyed the big money check
